Yes! That's it. I'm always stuck for a new question if I ever get one right. This time though it was fresh in my mind, as Hunedoara is on the list of to-do's on our Romania trip this fall and I just got my Lonely Planet guide in the mail tonight.

You're up DT.

That's what we thought too. We do want to see many of the places that are so popular, but this time, we wanted to really get into areas that weren't as well traveled. Once I got reading about Romania, it seems that it's not built for 4 and 5-star hotel people and it's got some real sadness left from past history. But some of the towns, architecture and scenery just look incredible and hardly visited (relatively speaking). We decided to give it a try.
Most looking forward to the town of Sighisoara in Transylvania, and the monasteries of Bucovina.

Let's try this...
This small street, named for a 19th Century painter, whose most famous work is housed in The Art Institute of Chicago, has been inhabited by the likes of Lawerence Durrell, Chaim Soutine, Emile Lahner, and Kurt Seligmann among others.
2 words - 1st words is 5 letters, 2nd word is 6 letters
The 5 letter of the second word is an "A" from Hunedoara.

This prince had a famous architect in the early 19th century build a hunting palace, which still exists today. Chopin was one of its most famous guests. There is a connection between this prince and one of the former US First Ladies. First name 6 letters, 9 in the last. The "A" in Seurat is the second letter of the last name.
