Croatia travel advice
My husband and I are thinking of going to Dubrovnik,Mostar,Montenegro and Medjugorje next April 2018. We only have one week and was wondering if that’s too ambitious? Also, since it’s April ,is everything open ? It’s before peak season and will probably be too cold for the beaches unfortunately. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

IMO, that would be ambitious, but perhaps do-able, dpedning on how you plan to travel and what, exactly, you want to see. IMO, a day and a half is sufficient for Dubrovnik; Mostar can be seen in the better part of a day, but try to spend a night, as it can be magical as the sun sets over the gorge; and Kotor can be seen as a (long) day trip from Dubrovnik. I didn’t visit Medjugorje, and so can’t speak to it.

Hope that helps!

Medjugorje is,about 45 minutes by road from Mostar, and is served by regular public buses. It's an interesting place, well worth 2 or 3 hours sat in the extensive church grounds or a wander to Apparition Hill. Plenty of places to eat, and the journey is quite scenic. We visited as interested sceptics and left as interested sceptics.
