Does anyone know if Capital One mastercard
is accepted in England and Ireland

Hi A,

MC is MC, no matter who the bank is.

It is accepted in England.

We made a point of using our Capital One MC in Ireland last year because, at least at that time, they were charging the lowest currency conversion fee.

Just make sure to call your credit card company ahead of time to tell them you will be using it out of the country so it will not be rejected.

Capital One is promoting itself very heavily in the UK at the moment. Terrible adverts, though.
