Covid Test in Florence Before Heading Back to U.S. Anyone?

Hi all,

I am hoping to hear from anyone who has recently been in Florence and got a Covid test in order to board their U.S.-bound flight. I am debating buying the Abbott Lab kits suggested by United Airlines at $50 per person or wait and find a place in Florence to get it done.

Would love to hear from anyone who has a recent experience. Have you found a place that uses the shorter nasal swab (mid-turbinate swab) instead of the long nasal swab (nasopharyngeal swab)? What are the prices and lines like?

Thank you!
