susaninmichigan: The sites that perform the test seem to be fairly spread out. We are staying in the Leicester Square area and it seems the closest pharmacy is in Lambeth. Am I missing closer places? This testing deal is really a pain....

Collinson have a clinic at St Pancras station
If none of these are suitable, bring a kit with you from the US. I guess whichever test kit you purchase will want a copy or details of your passport uploaded otherwise they will not be able to provide the test certificate results.

eastenderusvi: We are staying in the Trafalgar Square area...I'm hoping that the 1.5 mile walk to Lambeth Towers isn't too far. Not all the Lloyd's locations do the testing, and it seems that the test appointments book up fairly quickly. I looked into testing at Collinson St. Pancras and all the appointments were taken for the days that applied to our departure (leaving UK on Oct 5). The benefit of having an in person test that I did not have to prepay nor give any passport info was a plus, IMHO. Perhaps you can get a departure test at LHR? I didn't look into that, as our flight leaves fairly early.

We are off to Alaska today and I will say it is nice to not worry about testing for this trip😉
