Nice to see this thread still pop to the top once in a while - it's nearly a year old now.
My *very* next trip is this evening, I am heading with friends to Hilton Head/Savannah for the weekend.
I've got a variety of other trips planned this spring as well, but, the good news today is that my vacation request for Italy in May came through (which is good as I've already secured all hotels!)
16 days in Italy, sweet!

We leave for London on March 25 and will be there until April 25. Bought the tickets last fall; we might have been too eager since the price has fallen a bit. We've reserved the same apartment off Cromwell Road we've been staying in since 1994 -- tacky but clean, convenient and cheap.
For the last few trips, we've usually had a theme, at least for what we're going to video tape. We've done films on parish churches, public gardens, and Welsh castles. This year we will do some more work on a literary walks tape.
We also expect to spend some time in Wales visiting friends and are thinking about a visit to Chester, which we have not yet seen.
And we'll see what serendipity brings in the way of tickets at Leicester Square, concerts of all kinds, public festivals -- we loved the 41 gun salute for Elizabeth II's real birthday a couple of years ago -- and stamina.
The night we arrive, I'll heat up a steak and mushroom pie from Sainsbury's and serve it with a green salad and some trifle for desert and feel right at home.

65 days from today.
Five days to Rome! Our first time in la Città Eterna.
Flight & hotel are booked, and we're ready to go.
flygirl ... you're so enthusiastic that you miscalculated ... May 19 is definitely more than 120 days from now. Sorry!

196 days till our cruise to the Southern Caribbean...
Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas out of San Juan to Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, St. Maartin and St. Thomas.
Also thinking about a quick jaunt within the USA before then since we have 3 free domestic USAir tickets to use or lose. I love volunteering to give up seats.

Our next trip is 5 DAYS AWAY! we are extremelly excited. It's our first time ever to Europe. We are spending 4 days in Rome and 6 in Paris. We have pretty much everything planned. The only thing is narrowing down a nice restaurant to celebrate our 6th year anniversary

We're off to Rome Feb 6--it's our first time to Italy and first time to Europe since 2001. Our hotel is booked, Scavi is booked and I still have to finalize whether and which Vatican and Colosseum tours to take as well as reserve the Borghese.

Well my next trip is to Berlin Germany. I was bumped off my flight in December returning from Paris, which I was there for 7 full days. I was able to stay at some of the best hotels in the city, The Plaza Athenee, Le Meurice , The Four Seasons George V and the Bel Ami. Anyway, I digress. I have a voucher worth 300 Euros to use on Air France by December, so I have checked airfares and with the voucher I will only need to pay $219.61 out of pocket. I am looking forward to visiting Berlin in November 07 for 7 days. I have my hotel booked already, so I am looking forward to exploring the city and expirencing the culture.

I thought I had queled my wanderlust----but it seems it is back and rearing its head. Now I want to 1) visit NYC again, and 2) visit the Southern and midwestern United States.
I would like to do a car trip if possible, but not sure of the cost at the moment or when I will have vacation time again.
