23 days until we leave for Rome!!

Leave Jan 11th for five nights in amsterdam@ the Grand, then down to Brenner's in Baden-Baden for three, then down to Baur au Lac in Zurich for 5 more. This is our 12th trip to europe since '01. We go for the great hotels and local food, Amsterdam being our favorite place to go.

I've already started the planning & researching - the next trip for me is in 256 days! Headed off to Switzerland & Germany this time.

It will be my third time there, my parents first, and my husband's first time back home after living here in Cleveland, Ohio for three years. So it is very exiting for him, as all his family lives there, and many have not seen us since before we got married.

We will be gone for 18 days, and we do have some things booked but I will begin more planning once the holidays are over.

I am really hoping my parents love it as much as I do.

We're leaving Thursday evening to visit Bob the Nav and Mrs Nav in Florida. Looking forward to a little holiday cheer.

After that, it's a long wait till summer '07...when we visit Austalia!

Since my 03/03/06 post, we have been to France for 10+ weeks in the spring/summer and Victoria BC for 2 weeks in the fall. We are here in Paris for the holidays - 6+ weeks.

Our next trip is in 130 days to Italy for 5 weeks and Switzerland for another 5 weeks and maybe back to Paris for 2 weeks.

I do work (and work long hours) between trips.

In fourteen weeks I leave for Southeast Asia-Vietnam,Cambodia and Thailand.I'll be meeting up with Australians I met while travelling in India.I visited them Down Under in October and we planned this trip while I was there!

June 3, 2007 - My first trip back to Europe since 1999, and my husband's first trip ever!

Northern Spain, Prague, and Croatia. Most of our tickets are purchased (still searching for the perfect Prague-Zadar leg). Definitely counting the days. Most of our Christmas presents have something to do with the trip.

Very next is Tobago on this Dec 28th for a week, excited, but that is mostly just to chill.

What I am most excited about is April 19th, 2007 departing for Buenos Aires for 9 nights. I'm looking forward to all of it, but most of staying at the Alvear Palace hotel and eating and shopping my way through BsAs!

I see others actually told of all their upcoming trips so will add in August 07 we are off to Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, St Petersburg and Moscow for August.

Most excited about Russia as I am half Russian but have identified with my Hungarian ancestry more, so this will be a treat.

Paris - Vezelay - Dijon - Thodure - Uzes for 10 days in June 2007.

First time I've counted the days.
ONLY 134 days till 1 week in Venice, 1 week in Umbria/Tuscany, 1 week in Rome and 1 week in Greece.

Rome...Leave Feb. 18 ...54 days to go- but that is actually 2007.
I studied in Rome in college and have been back twice with my family. This will be our third trip and this time we'll be renting an apartment in Trastevere. Looking forward to finding new sites to see, revisiting favorite sites, a day trip to Orvieto, olives with oranges mixed in, wine, cheese, great food, a day tour of Jewish Rome, and just relaxing for a week with la dolce vita.

Leave for Barcelona; Celebrity Millennium cruise and 10 days in Sicily/Italia on 30 April.

A week in Rome in April, and 10 days in Dubrovnik in August, then 4 Days in Vienna in Oct, all in 2007 , god willing :)

Just got back from 4 days in Toronto and an Andre Rieu concert.
February 8 we're leaving for 5 days in Grand Cayman.
We've got 264 days (Sept) before we leave for 3 weeks in Italy! Got the airfares and a couple of hotels, working hard on planning and booking.

49 days until a long February weekend in Budapest. Also looking forward to a trip to Bucharest and Istanbul for 10 days sometime in May or June 2007...I feel very un-Fodorish at the moment for not having begun planning for the summer trip!
