Three more weeks to go..

We have slightly less than a month to go Italy. Can't wait but I am not counting days. I love living in anticipation of something pleasant ahead.

119 Days before we leave for Paris.

We are off for a motorcycle tour (Edelweiss tours) of Austria, Slovekia and Hungry at the end of August. Have been planning this trip for over 6 months and am counting the days!

I LOVE YOU ALL for your passion for travel.

1 month and we will be sitting in a villa in Crete. I have a lot to do before I go. I better get organized.

My next trip is a home exchange in Vienna, Austria, this summer. I do not like to give the dates when I leave and return on a public forum.

Side trips to Budapest and Bratislava are planned.

We leave July 9 for Paris and London! 49 days to go!

We are both so ready. Everything is booked and planned, and we are just ready to enjoy 2 weeks overseas.

First time for my hubby, second for me!

I am most excited to see the Louvre (missed it last time due to illness), having a yummy crepe, and experiencing London to the fullest.

Next trip is Italy (1 night Pisa, 1 week Florence, 1 week Venice) then England for 2 weeks.

Flights booked, apartments reserved, tickets purchased for the Leaning Tower and the Cezanne exhibit in Florence, passes purchased for the state musuems in Florence (incl Uffizi). Haven't bought train tickets yet to get from Florence to Venice.

It's my second time to Florence and Venice, but first time to Italy for hubby and our daughters. First time to England for all.

I'm looking forward to so many things, a small sample of which are:
- the look on my 11yo's face when she sees the Leaning Tower,
- my 17yo's reaction to Siena
- Stonehenge
- seeing the David again...sigh...
- gelato!!

Only 38 days to go!!!

If everything goes well, then it will be around 197 days before my next trip! I am crossing my fingers as wanderlust can be very strong at times.

Just back from Tbilisi, Georgia. (Hint, do not try to keep up with your Georgian hosts when they keep proposing toasts and drinking their surprisingly good wine.)

Next trip: Canary Islands in June to dive (postponed last year due to a death in the family), then Switzerland to hike and then a quick drive around Burgundy to mop up the wine we didn't drink on our wine-tasing tours last summer. This is our end-of-posting holiday before moving to the US.

69 until our first trip to the hell-hole (Kaua'i) in 2 years! \:D/

We leave tomorrow for Kandersteg.
Eleven months for the Netherlands.

Saturday we will be given a tour of the church in Tagerwilen where my grandparents were marrried in 1889. The church was built in 900.

Sunday to Las Vegas! Meeting Bashful there :)

Okay, I'm back from Paris (wonderful time). 141 days till I head to Rome for my 4 nights there and then a 14-night Mediterranean/Black sea cruise!!!

I'm just over a month back from Amsterdam and I just shouted with joy from my cube at work as I got my airfare for one week in Rome in November. Dare I count the days??? (161 in case you're interested!) ;-)

Now negotiating with a couple in Brisbane, Australia, about a home exchange in 2008. We shall see. Sometimes negotiations done so far ahead of time work out and sometimes they don't.

Leaving June 28 for a month in Prague for a class with a National Geographic photographer!!!

Then to the Galapacos next May.... (and hopefully some stuff in between!!)

Just returned from 3 weeks in Barcelona; Marseilles; Villefranche; Rome; Mykonos; Kusadasi/Ephesus; Palermo; Taormina; Ravello and NYC.
Sonoma, CA or La Ciudad in August; HI for Thanksgiving (NCL's POH); Mazatlan for Christmas.
