flygirl, I was just thinking the same thing! I know the weather forecast isn't necessarily accurate.....just being on the page is exciting for me.
We drive up to DC next Friday to fly out of Dulles for Italy & Paris.

15 days til departure to Paris -- I alternate between super duper excited and scared to death. :)

50 days until Italy and France for 5 weeks....!

Finally...leaving on Tuesday for the Dordogne. Booked ticket on air miles 330 days in advance which seemed like an eternity.

We are leaving for Belgium Sept 11th
and will be there 11 days and then
going to Poland for 15 days. We
are using our airmiles and we
booked the trip 3 wks ago.
We haven't booked any hotels but
we will book the first and last night
in each country. Haven't decided
if we will drive or do the trains.
This is our 15th time to Europe.
If I could, I would spend at least
3 mos a yr over there. I have
loved every minute of our travels--
well, not the time in Madrid when
I went after a would-be mugger in
Madrid with my unbrells and my
husband took care of
one on a train in Barcelona.
My husband thinks I am part nomad.

I go in less than 24 hours ;-)

We leave tomorrow evening from Detroit for Munich and then Switzerland and Italy. It looks like we will have a lot of rain in Switzerland. I guess it is bad planning on my part, but I'm hoping "showers" doesn't mean all day downpour!!!
