And from a January 2007 week in Rome with day trip to Orvieto, again with much food and eating information:

"Maitaitom - If you read this, I read yours too yesterday. So much fun to read. You had me cracking up!"
Thanks. I just looked at our video a couple of nights ago, and a friend just brought us some of that great Lamole Olive Oil, so I have had italy on the brain this week. I might just put some wrong gas in the car this week for old time's sake.

Check here for our report and photos for 2001, 2003, and 2004. www.janeandken.com
We also lived in Tuscany from August 2006-July 2007. I kept a blog starting with the often frustrating process of obtaining long term visas, etc. If you go here and then go back to entries prior to August 2007 you can read a continuing report of both the preparation and the year. www.janeandken.blogspot.com Enjoy!

I'm not sure exactly how to do the link, but if you click on my name you'll find my report on two weeks in Rome and Naples.
I'll try to do the link also: http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...avel&fid=2

Tiff has great trip reports. Tiff, are you there? I'll wait a bit and if she doesn't post, I'll put in the links to her posts. They are awesome.
I've been to Italy 9 times and I have several pages on virtual tourist and have been used in Fodor's books, but for some reason have been remiss in posting trip reports here. I'll do that in the near future...before I leave in 3 weeks on my next trip!

Hi mda97 --
What a fab idea. I can't wait to read through some of these myself! Here is the only trip report I've written on Italy thus far, but I'll have another to add after my 5th visit this May. Hope it helps!
2005: Venice, Positano & Amalfi Coast, Rome
