micheline-- i was in london last spring and got several groupons before our trip and it really made it fun. usually go by the book and recommendations from fodors-- but did some goofy things i wouldn't have otherwise done because of the groupons. went to a basement bar filled with kids decades younger... after the 4 groupon drinks, it was totally fun! went to notting hill for tea in an old rowhouse hotel that was super-movie-set-modern on the inside. just did things i wouldn't have otherwise done. i checked them all against tripadvisor and went for it! have a great time on the tour.

i posted above... use it everywhere... i just google groupon london (or groupon wherever) and it will take you to that site. i think you used to have to 'sign up' in that city (one can be signed up for more than one)... but i don't think you need to anymore. i just got a couple for nyc (we're going next month) and didn't have to sign up again.
we have also had some really good ones from travelzoo for london. they tend to be slightly higher end. for that one, you need to go to the travelzoo uk site just by googling it.
