Hi, I'd just like to second Jody's comment about Wesley House, High Street, Winchcombe - we were there today and had an excellent lunch, good food, great service, great interior and some very welcome air conditioning. Hailes Abbey is just up the road and if you go do get the audio tour - it costs nothing extra and makes it a magical little trip to an old ruin of some importance.

The Horse & Groom pub in Bourton-on-the-Hill is more of a restaurant than a pub and is renowned for its good food. We've had plenty of good meals there as it's just round the corner from our self catering cottage and they will also let our guests have breakfast at the pub if they want.

Give it a try.

Sorry, only just re-read the rules. I apologise and won't do it again.
