Costco in Scotland

Has anyone shopped at Costco in Glasgow or Edinburgh. It might be a good place to buy reasonable souvenirs.

There is a big one (next to IKEA) just off the Edinburgh City Bypass (A720) on the A701 heading to Penicuik. Many of my erstwhile colleagues shop there regularly - they love it.

Sorry not sure what type of souvenirs you are after?

I hear that the Costco sells the super-large economy multi-pack of Haggis at a very resonable size. Sadly, the last time I checked they did not yet have the ever popular Haggis-In-A-Tube, but it is due any time.

As my husband was going out the door to do this morning, I mentioned that there was a Costco in Edinburgh, and he said we should go when we are in Edinburgh to see what it is like(we belong here in Atlanta). I love to go into grocery stores and see what other cultures value. Here in Atlanta, pickled pigs feet(and eggs) are displayed...I am wondering about the Edinburgh Costco,,,the ubiquitous Haggis???? Just curious... But it sounds like that would be a learning experience. ;-) Judy

no pigs feet, no RC Cola, no Moonpies, no subs/hoagies/po-boys/whatevers, no sloppy Jims/Joes/Jacks etc, no baked squirrel, no pan-seared penguin beaks, no sno-cones, cotton candy, turkey legs or coconut cream pies.

Not sure about haggis.

There's a costco somewhere in the north of Glasgow - never been but someone gave me a jar of Jelly Bellies from there & said they were cheaper than normal.
My father used to spend most of his Spanish holidays in the shops comparing prices with back home...
