I have a story for you: in February 2001 I was scheduled and mailed payment for three people to take the Scavi Tour. Sadly, two days before the trip my Dad passed away unexpectedly. I cancelled the trip and sent e-mails, including to the Scavi Tour Office. I mentioned not to worry about a refund. In November 2004, I took my Mom to Rome and one of the things we did was the Scavi Tour. When I showed up at the Office to pay for my reservations, there was a handwritten note next to my name where it stated that I had paid already for the tour and wishing me and my family a good tour. The absolute most amazing customer service detail I have ever experienced.

Viajero-Great story!

One thing to note; they do make you pay in advance now to secure your reservation.
