Corsica in January-February
Hi All,
We are seriously considering going to Corsica for 4-5 weeks this winter period. We are friendly, curious, folks interested in hiking (that said we are 73 and in good shape), good food, and just meeting people.
Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated as we are just in the beginning of our planning!
Thanks, Philip

During that time of year, I think it could be very, very quiet. We had about 10 days there one summer (early summer) and enjoyed it but thought it felt a bit of a backwater, maybe like Italy 50 years ago. If you book somewhere to stay that you really like and have access to cook some days, and have transport, go for it.
Actually, most important, check historical weather. If it rains a lot then you will be too limited with what you can do.
