Corfu to Meteora
I am taking a trip to Greece in August, and thinking of spending 2-4 days in Corfu. I was hoping to go to Meteora, however I can't decide if it is worth it. In your opinion, should I travel from Corfu to Meteora, spending the night, then returning at some point the next day? If so, how would I get there? And how much would it cost?

I really can't answer your question, AB, but I did look it up on the map. You would have to take a ferry, of course, from Kerkira to the mainland at Igoumenitsa, I suppose, and then drive or take a bus to Meteora. I checked it out on Mappy, and it is something like 220 km through some really serious mountains on windy secondary roads. Mappy says it should take 3 hours 7 minutes. Doesn't sound like a day trip to me. Hope others can give better estimates as to how practical it would be.
You'll love Corfu, I'm sure.

Not really practical for just 1 night. Firstly, you would need to get to the ferry port in Corfu, take the ferry to Igoumenitsa (between 1 - 2 hours), then drive to Meteora. I actually think this would take more than 3 hours 7 minutes, especially in August which is when roads will be more crowded than usual with Greek holiday makers. The drive is extremely mountainous. All in all, it is likely to take you about 7 or 8 hours from Corfu.

Hi ab10,
I have looked at your other posts, and frankly am getting confused. You have mentioned visiting Santorini, flying into Athens and out from Thessaloniki, and now staying in Corfu with a visit to Meteora.
Suggest you devise an itinerary that doesn't require so much travel between destinations. Meteora would be much easier to reach from Athens or Thessaloniki. If you still plan to fly from Thessaloniki to Munich, you may want to consider Skiathos/Skopelos for your island visit, or even Halkidiki - Corfu is the other side of Greece!

Heimdall, sorry for the confusion. I was trying to figure out the best itinerary for my 21 days in Greece, and had many options. After taking into consideration advice from Fodorites, information from research, and other personal recommendations, I've decided to skip Corfu. My finalized itinerary includes Santorini (2 nights), Athens (4 nights), Delphi (1 night), Metora (2 nights), and Thessaloniki for my last night before departing.
Thanks to everyone who has helped with my plans!
