Copenhagen Main Rail Station

I've logged on to the www.bahn.de site to determine what the time and cost of the journey between Copenhagen and Hamburg would be. I'm running into problems because the only railway station in Copenhagen the site will let me pick is the one at the airport. Is there another train station name I should be plugging in (the main downtown one)? Alternatively, is there a Danish rail website I could check? Thank you.

In Copenhagen, the name is Central Station, or Hovedbanegaerden. The one at the airport is only about 10 minutes from the Central Station. Boots

First glitch I've noted in bahn.de site. Type in "Kopenhagen Hbf" and you will get all the info you need.

Try www.dsb.dk. They have a link to an English trip planner. Good luck!

Thanks everyone! I'll check out these tips.
Another question - is part of the Copenhagen-Hamburg trip on a train loaded onto a ferry, and for how long? Looking at the map, it seems obvious that this route has to cross water at some point.
Thank you.

The whole train drives onto the ferry. The sea crossing from Rødby in Denmark to Puttgarden in Germany takes one hour.

Hi Dovima,

See if you can get a Danish ferry for the crossing, you get a smorgasbord.
