I live three blocks from the Washington DC line, in Maryland. $250,00 would get you al ovely parking space. Seriously, I haven't seen a house in my town on the market for under 650,000 for over a year. Scottsdale sounds nice. Threehearts

No problem. Do aware that if you book Guldsmeden it could further out than what you expect. But given this caveat and the rest I noted on the blog, I still find the hotel recommendable. Marriott on Priceline would just be slightly cheaper (but no breakfast).

Where are the $230,000 house that "aren't very nice"????? In parts od the DC Metro area for one....I'm sure you get more for less out in the desert..some wags might even say a LOT less but to each their own, right?

NOTE- Now that bidddingfortravel.com is up and running for the most part, I now see that people have won their 4* bid at LeMeridien as well as the Marriott. As far as breakfast being included in the Marriott via Priceline, some people have reported that it was included. Threehearts
