Copenhagen accommodation

Looking at accommodation in Copenhagen Tripadvisor traveller rankings, I’m very surprised to see only one hotel with 5 dots (or whatever they’re called). The same seems to be true of bed and breakfasts. There is only one B&B that is 5 dots but it doesn’t seem to have reviews past 2017. We usually always book 5 dot places when we travel. (Not referring to price but quality). Maybe we’re putting too much stock in TA reviews but Booking and Google reviews seem to be coincide withTA ones. Has anyone also looking for Accomodation also noticed this? We love small quiet inns/ hotels and would probably to keep under 3,000 DKK if I understood the conversion correctly. Any personal recommendations appreciated. 3 nights - summer -We are celebrating a special occasion and are going to be visiting Copenhagen for the first time, enjoy walking, exploring and being near the centre but not right in the midst of the bars and action.

We liked Skt Petri a lot when we stayed there last August. It does not qualify as a small hotel, but was fairly quiet. Good location, could walk just about anywhere and easy access to the Norreport train station. We paid somewhat more than your price point for a junior suite, so regular rooms should be in the range. We struggled with where to stay, finding many recommended hotels with tiny tiny rooms, no closet or drawers etc. The breakfast was really good.
