Cool things in London?

I'm off to London for an extended weekend and I'm looking for the happening things going on. I lived there 15 years ago and won't be visiting Trafalgar square if you get my drift. Maybe someone could suggest a good show on at a museum or that special pub.

You could try Camden Lock, the Trocadero at Picadilly, Chinatown and don't miss Covent Garden. Chicago is supposed to be a great show, if you can get seats. Why not spend a day in Brighton - there's loads happening here, too (check out the Virtual Brighton & Hove website).

Lyndell, <BR>Check out London at the city.net site. There you'll find listings of all current theatre productions in London, museum and gallery exhibits, special events, etc.

We've just (3 weeks ago) returned from London......lots to do. The Victoria and Albert has some pretty cool exhibits....the new Canon photo exhibit is great as well is the costumes/fashion exhibit. The Tate is a step above the rest if you like galeries they had a special Bodard exhibit. Have fun!!!

Although I doubt if I am a "happenin' guy", I think you'd probably get a kick out of the Reduced Shakespeare Company's production of ALL of Shakespeare's plays in one evening. It's hillarious--with audience interaction, disgusting humor and complete irreverence. Also, if you look carefully, you might find discount coupons. The theatre is right off the Picadilly Circus Tube entrance. Also, once a week (I think Tuesday), they do the History of the United States in 90 minutes.

Afraid we're not "happenin'" either...(look at the edress!), but the Shakespeare show was highly recommended to us too (by someone far more au courant than we!). We just couldn't drag our tired (from schleppin' round London=town all day) bottoms to it!
