Connections through Frankfurt - timing
We are looking to book flights from Canada to Istanbul, through Frankfurt. The connection offered gives only 1 hour and 5 minutes between our international flight in, connecting to a regional carrier to go on to Istanbul.
Can anyone give me any advice on whether this is adequate? I haven't found out if we need to clear baggage/customs in FRA, or whether we need to change terminals. My gut is saying that time is too tight, but do we want to spend several hours waiting for the next flight and pay extra to do that, or take a chance and maybe get rebooked on the later flight anyway if we don't make the first one?
I hope that makes sense!

Will you be flying with Lufthansa?
In 2005, I flew with them YYZ-FRA- Istanbul, I chose to book a later flight, so didn't have to rush around, even in same terminal, it could be a long walk; and my experience with Lufthansa has been very positive either.
Last year, I connected through Frankfurt more than half dozen times, the flights were late everytime, once more than half of the passengers were either rebooked or rerouted.
