I would chose the nave if you can get near the front.
I love to watch the musicians. It's a joy to see the passion and emotion on their faces as they perform.
And a candlelight concert, on a chilly drizzly night, is sublime.

iluvitaly - I agree with you.
For anyone who plays an instrument (or even tries) position during a concert is very important.
I always go to classical guitar concerts and sit on the right hand side where I can study the left hand of the guitarist.
BTW - I got a surprise at St Chapelle last year when the musician was left handed (quite unusual).
