Comparing day trips: Koblenz vs Speyer/Worms
We have 4 days in the Rhine area. We're based in Mainz.
One day taking a day cruise from Mainz to Boppard and spending several hours in Boppard and possibly stop in St Goar or Bacharach for a bit.
The next day train to the other of St Goar or Bacharach and Oberwesel.
The other two days would be day trips to Heidelberg and Koblenz.
Now I'm thinking about making somewhat of a change.
I could switch out the day with St Goar or Bacharach and Oberwesel or the day trip to Koblenz and insert Speyer and Worms.
Any comments on how these days compare would be appreciated.

Have a look at the more than 200 answers to your different threads concerning your Rhine river journey and you will certainly find the information you need.
Speyer could easily be visited along your journey to Heidelberg; all depends on what you want to visit in these towns and how much time you will need for that.
