Do you agree with this list? We've stayed only at the Langlois, which we liked, but I wonder if the suggested rate is still correct.

I am surprised the Britannique is on the list as rates start at about $250 per night. Have stayed there and it is a lovely hotel.

I too am very surprised that the Britannique is on this list! We loved our stay there, but I would never think to call it budget...far from it.

Much of the information on about.com in general is way outdated. It's also chock full of links that do not work.

We stayed at Hotel Langlois in May 2005 for a rate of €108 with an exchange rate, at that time, of 1.28, so $138.

Current rates on their website are €140-150 for a double room.

Some of those hotels have been renovated and increased prices. The best resource for budget hotels that seems to keep current is

We stayed at a great Best Western de Cluny close to Notre Dame in Latin Quarter. Walked to everything and near metro stops. Reasonable price.
