Either refresh using f5 or log in an out to sort your centre justified issue.

Everything appears centered, the tags and the posts. I guess it's somerthing I have to get used to.

Thanks, I did as stilldontknow suggested., I have fodors saved on my favorites and I did figure out I had to log out and then log back in. I saved the new log in to my favorites and now it's fine.

I like the colors Deborah

Wow, love the color! Great tie-in with the current Fodor's branding. And a wee bit faster loading, always a good thing.

And the new homepage is so clean! Nice.

I do not like the centered justification. I find it hard to read. Like others, I hope this is a "bug" and will be changed to left justification.

I too really dislike the centered justification - really hard to read.

I am finding the loading dead slow today and the new format of the foums is just terrible, there is no clear destiction between posts and the whole thing is difficult to read.
as others have said I hope this is just an early glitch.

My center justification disappeared after I logged out and back in and then refreshed the page.....not sure which of those did it.

Mine came up center-justified at first, but one touch of the F5 refresh key fixed it.

<b>F5</b> people. Give it a try!

Maybe it's just me, but the color scheme and fonts seem to be really hard to read. The change seems to be too much form over function.

The light blue headers are particularly problematic. There's just not enough contrast. I don't have a problem with it for the poster's name, but for topic headings, it's really bad.

I'm not crazy about the wide orange banner (isn't orange considered a hostile color?) but it doesn't affect the readability of the posts the way the font and headings do.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the feedback. I've read through the post and am taking notes. Just a few quick things - the center alignment is not correct and we working to fix it. As other Fodorites have mentioned, logging out and back in, refreshing the page, and pressing F5 seem to be solving the problem. We're also working on pumping up the lines that separate the comments. If you have any other problems/questions, please email me ([email protected])

finally, after I'd tried logging off and on again, and I'd banged the F5 button a few times to nil effect, hitting the refresh button worked and I am no left-justifeid rather than centred. Hurray!

not sure about anything else yet - I needed to fix that first.

Amy, I like the Fodor's "Travel Intelligence" banner. I also like the blue/orange coloring but I agree with Goaway that there isn't enough contrast with the current shade of blue especially in the small columns on the left, the color looks lite blue/light grey. Thanks for being a good listener, Amy. Deborah

ann

tip your screen to the left and shake it. You'll find the text re-aligns to the left quite nicely.

I don't like new.

I am over 40, new is for kids.

I like soft old loved things.

F5 fixed it for me and I now have each posting separated. The only issue I have is the size of the orange banner at the top, on my little net book it almost takes up half the screen, is there an easy fix for this?

But I am happy with the "new look" as it really doesn't seem to be much different.

F5 did the trick, indeed. Much better layout now! But the after-F5 font is not nice to read. The spaces between the letters are too narrow.
