Clothes to wear in Paris in May?

I will be in Paris in last week of May. What clothes should I take? Do I need to carry a jacket or something warm?

If anyone tells you what the weather in Paris will be at any particular time, don't believe them. They don't know, I don't know, you won't know until you get there. Paris is so changeable and unpredictable nobody really knows. Could be sunny, mild, cold, cloudy, nasty, windy, rainy. People have been cold in July and warm in October. So be prepared with layers to put on or take off, umbrellas, hope for sunny, mild weather and you'll be fine. For more Paris information e-mail me: [email protected]

Yes something warm and something waterproof. Several years ago I was there over Memorial Day weekend and the temps never reached more than the upper 50sF and it rained almost every day.
I had a raincoat with a lining and wore a sweater underneath, and was glad to have both. Umbrella goes without saying.

I never count on Paris for good weather; love it anyway.
