Cliffs of Moher cruise

Hello:

Has anyone ever taken the Cliffs of Moher cruises offered by Doolin ferries or Aran Island ferries?

I can't seem to find prices on their websites and wonder if it is worthwhile.

Thanks!

There is another firm doing cruises from Doolin to the Cliffs:
www.cliffs-of-moher-cruises.com
I haven't done this trip myself.

I enjoyed the Cliffs boat trip and also the one at Carrigaholt to see the dolphins.

I went on one from Liscannor. Don't know the name of the company. We just happened to be exploring around the harbor one sunday afternoon and saw the sign for the trip, grabbed some tickets and jumped on the boat. As I recall, it was pretty reasonable. I had been to the top of the cliffs many times before but this was my first time around the base and I thought they were evan more spectacular from down there. The afternoon was pleasant, but the trip was a choppy one, so I don't know what a blowy day would be like.

However, I thought it was a great experience and would recommend it with the caveat about rough seas.

I took the one through mohercruises.com - can't remember which company that was exactly, but the cruise was great. Price was 20€ and totally worth it, in my opinion. If left from the docks in Doolin, maybe 15 minutes from the Cliffs visitors centre. We had a beautiful afternoon for it, so I'm not sure what it would be like in rough weather. Our cruise was completely full, so I'd call ahead for a spot, especially if you're going in the summer (we went in June and just called the day before, when we'd checked the weather).

Thanks! This was the info I was looking for. We are going in late May so hopefully the weather will cooperate!
