Classical Tour of Albania
I spent eight days in Albania in March 2017. My detailed trip report can be read here:

I have read some of your trip report, and will read more later. Albania sounds very interesting! I love your photos. Are there many tourists in Albania? Are the Albanians friendly towards tourists? Would love to go some day. Is the only way to travel there with a tour group?
Thanks!
Thanks!

yes, I've started reading too - thanks for posting about a country few of us know little about and even fewer of us have visited.
the last book I read which mentioned it was by someone who decided to cycle round the Med from East to West starting in Albania which he found surprisingly nice and welcoming.
I'll be back to read some more soon.

No, you don't need a tour for Albania. I traveled there solo in 2011. Mostly buses and shared mini-buses, one car and driver arranged on the spot and one to get there. Preferred Macedonia, but Albania was interesting.
