Cinque Terre local train times?

Hi everyone!

Does anyone know how early the trains run from Vernazza to Monterosso? Thanks!

The first train leaves 4.51 am in Vernazza, arriving Monterosso at 4.54.

... but they're not quite that early on a Sunday. Check on www.bahn.de or www.trenitalia.com.

I certainly would never want to get up that early on any day of the week, but the original questioner was worried about how early the trains ran. The only way to answer such a question is to check the railway timetables.

Early birds catch the worms; late ones have to actually eat them.

Realize that the little train of the CT is not run by the Swiss. The answer to your original question of how early do the trains run? Whenever the crew gets up and feels like running them. The schedules there are a rough guide -- not an exact science.

Many Swiss trains i've been on recently have been late - that clocklike efficiency is overhyped.
