Cinque Terre Hike

We will be in CT for a couple of days and wish to hike all of the villages. Our plan is doing half each day to allow some time in each village rather than rushing through in one day. Monterroso to Corniglia one day and Corniglia to Riomaiggore the next. Will use trains as needed.
It sounds as if it can be quite strenuous with the hills. As others have noted, it is probably best to get the toughest part out of the way early in the hike. Any recommendations on which direction for each hike?
Thank you in advance

Have you checked to see which trails are open? As of today, the second half of your plan doesn't look to be possible.

What time of year are you going?

So it looks like we will only be able to do the Monterroso to Corniglia hike on day one.
Any suggestions for a scenic hike in the area for day two?
We are staying in Riomaiggore.
Thanks

I trust you realize that weather or trail conditions can force closures at any time? You might want to wait until you are there to discover what your actual options are....
