Cinque Terra or Tuscany

My husband and I are traveling for the first time to Italy. We will visit Rome, Venice and Florence, then have 3 days to explore. We are considering Cinque Terra or Sienna/Hill region of Tuscany. Are there any opinions as to which we would enjoy more? Any comments on transportation from Florence to either of these areas?

How much time do you have total in each city? Maybe you can squeeze in both. If I HAD to choose, I'd do Cinque Terre.

Oh, we took a train from Florence to Pisa, where we caught another train to LaSpezia/Cinque Terre. It was all on one ticket that we purchased in Florence.

Hmm...that's not much time. We did 3 nights in Florence, 3 in Cinque Terre and 3 in Tuscan hill towns. You could to 3 nights in Florence and 2 in CT. OR 2 nights in Florence, 1 in CT and 2 in Tuscany if you don't mind rushing...
