I hope the rate for Hotel Pasquale (with a view) is close to La Spiaggia's rate of 160E. I woulddefinitely take it,

Thanks BarbaraS, that is exactly the kind of info I need. Anyone have the same kind of info regarding La Spiaggia ?

Hey Barbara S we were at Hotel Pasquale in May! Wonder if I saw you at breakfast . The noise from the trains is significant, but nothing keeps me awake so I didn't care.

The walk from Monterosso to Vernazza, the next town is fabulous but a killer. The 1st 30 mins or so is all uphill and thus, all steps. You may be better to catch a ferry to another town and start your walk at an easier stage.

Hope you have a fab time!

We paid €150, minus 10% for cash payment. Have a great trip!

cathies - we were at the Hotel Pasquale May 18 and 19. Wasn't the breakfast wonderful!

Was the 150E for a view room? I just called and asked for reservations for next year. He said "we're full". I asked "for next YEAR?" His answer was "yes". Is that possible?

I think all they have are view rooms. It's built right into the rock and there are no rooms that face the rock.

Here's the rates on their website http://www.hotelpasquale.com/en/prez...oni/prezzi.asp

I would use the website and check availability for the specific dates you want.

Also, there were usually taxis just outside the train station if you don't want to walk to the hotel.

Good luck!

Hi BarbaraS, we were there the week after you and enjoyed the hotel very much. Yes breakfast was lovely and we loved the view from our room and also got a silly thrill out of racing to the window to watch the trains hurtle past!
