Every year I look forward to your Christmas windows videos. Fabulous as always (perfect music too!) I've been even more eagerly awaiting them this year as I'll be there in 3.5 weeks to view them in person! Thank you for the glorious preview.

I just stopped by Galeries Lafayette yesterday. It looked just like what I saw in the video before the visit. The crowd in front of the windows were enormous. The Galeries Lafayette placed raised platforms for little ones to get in front of the windows.

Yes, both stores always have platforms for small children.

Thanks kerouac. I thought le Bon Marché had the best windows this year. I suppose it´s too late to include them now (crowds) but it is perfectly safe here on the Left Bank. Maybe you will venture south and include them next year.

I've been to the department stores on Boulevard Haussmann today, and the polar bears in Galeries Lafayette are indeed mesmerizing.

However I don't need any more visitor there.

I was at Galeries Lafayette a little over a week ago and was thrilled to see the Christmas windows. I loved the polar bears and got there early in the morning so not crowded at all.
Thanks Kerouac for the video!

That's beautiful, kerouac. I was at the Champs Elysées Christmas market last week and it was soooooooo crowded that I couldn't walk! It took the mood out of me, but your video is somehow able to restore that luminous aura of the market.

One should keep in mind that I only went along one side of Champs Elysées Christmas market. It is such an ordeal to do that only true fanatics would ever consider doing both sides.

However, sometime before the end of the year, I might do the other side...

Great videos! And I love the added music. Would you mind telling me who the artists were?

Would you mind telling me who the artists were?

Printemps has music by the French singer Usmar.
Galeries Lafayette music is by the Turkish group Turcatone Project.

As a last hurrah for the season, here is a glimpse of the Chistmas windows at Le Bon Marché.

Thank you kerouac,
I've been hearing about Le Bon Marché's Xmas windows for a while, and now your video urges me. I'm going there right now, before passing by a cinema to watch Assassin's Creed to celebrate my Noel alone in joy.
