Christmas Day away from home in a European city...
If you were to spend Christmas Day away from home in a European city of choice with spouse/partner/friend, what would you do? Something traditional, something new... Ideas, thoughts and feedback, please. Thanks!

Paris, thank you very much.
The Pompidou is open. So are a few others. My mother enjoyed the Jewish History museum while my sister and I were at the Pompidou. Some of the shops in the Marais are open. Place de Vosges was filled with families enjoying the crisp, sunny air (last year). You can also go to service at Notre Dame (get there early).
And make certain to make a reservation for someplace wonderful to eat dinner (or a big Christmas lunch).
