I wouldn't worry about it right now...tfl has a bad habit of totally revising fares on January 1 of each year so this is research best left for early 2007...(for all we know Ken the Red may come up with new ways to increase the fares for tourists while bringing them down for locals [not that there is anything inherently wrong with that, just look at the car rental taxes they put on cars in Orlando!]...

And don't worry about photographs either. You can find automatic photobooths that will produce the right size of photo in a few minutes, all over the place - often in tube stations, because that's their prime market.
