See www.kayak.com and www.mobissimo.com

You do realize that you are going in the high season?

Dublin is cheaper to get to. It's just down the road from me. I can get there by bus for €5. I could walk if I wasn't so lazy.

PS: Spain is not a city.

Sometimes the cheapest way is to fly into London and then take another flight on RyanAir or plenty of other cheaper flights that are available. Try www.farecompare.com

Work a tramp steamer and you'll accumulate some pocket change on the way.

Depends on where you are flying out of. I used cfares.com and got tickets from Denver to Paris for $550.00 in September. My advice, check everyday and when a good price comes up be ready to buy right then.

From Melbourne, Australia, about A$2000 return is about the cheapest it can be done. Flying to Frankfurt is cheaper.

Join the U.S Army or U.S. Air Force and get one of those contracts that get you stationed there.

Try Icelandic Airlines. They have been having sales lately. You can connect from one of their cities.

Question:

I did a search on cfares for YVR to Paris in mid-May and got a quote of $801 with taxes on KLM non-stop. I can't tell whether it is US dollars or CDN dollars. I can't find any info on the site.

I assume it's US dollars...but even so...great deal!

Does anyone know if the price quoted is in US dollars?

Thanks!

Take it! Figure out what currency later. Even if it's USD, it's a helluva deal, eh?

I would assume USD but I sent an e-mail to the chairman asking just to verify. I will let you know when I receive a reply. I am not willing to pay the $50 membership fee to purchase tickets directly through cfares so I went to the actual airlines webpage to purchase the tickets and they were offered at a lower rate then cfares had.

So I already got a response to my e-mail. He said, "All fares are quoted in U.S. dollars, and are inclusive of taxes, unless otherwise noted "Plus Tax" ".
