Cheap Krakow Hotel or Apartment?

Hi,
I've added Krakow to my fall trip and my mom has decided to come with me. I'm looking for a cheap place to stay so that we can have separate rooms (I sleep better in my own room). Does anybody have suggestions for a hotel, pension, apartment, etc that would be 45 euro or less per person? With the dollar so weak, it's getting tougher to work these budgets! Thanks.

Hi aggiegirl; Try this web site and you will have a large selection. They will give you tourist reviews and prices. Just keypunch Krakow and your dates and ENJOY Iris www.booking.com If you select a hotel, then go to tripadvisor.com and see if their reviews are similar to the 'booking' site.

Thanks Iris. I checked that apartment and it looks perfect, but it is booked for when I need it. I'll try the booking website.

Anybody else?

When we were in Krakow 2 years ago we used www.sodispar.com to rent an apartment, they had a large selection at reasonable prices. They had a driver pick us up at the airport with the keys, we didn't pay anything until we were leaving. Our apartment was centrally located on Florianska street.

SiofraB,
Thanks for the link. I emailed them a few days ago and I believe they are going to call me to discuss options.

Any other suggestions out there?

Siofra, I just booked with Sodispar for June 15-17. They have been very nice and helpful so far. Was glad to see you recommendation after the fact. This was also recommended by someone else. They don't take a deposit. I just needed to email my flight confirmation to them. This place cost for 2 nights less than the place in Warsaw for 1 night.

I didn't have luck with Sodispar. The only apartment that fit my needs that's available for my five days is too expensive, $180 USD per night. I am now in communication with Guest Rooms Maria and I will probably be booking two single rooms with them.
