Hi Fodorites.
I've been searching the net for cheap internal flights from NIce France to Athens, Greece but since I dont know lots of the names of
EU only airlines, not having much success.
Can somebody help me ?

Actually I'll be in Paris and then in Nice and just decided as long as I'm over there to take another 4 or 5 days and go to Athen, Santorini, Mykonos - butI have no idea about a tour guide.
Has anyone taken a trip to Greece and taken a tour, by bus or hydrofoil ?
Should I wait til I get thre and look up tours ?

There are no super-budget airlines that fly from Nice to Greece. Using kayak.com, Lufthansa flies that route, but it isn't cheap.
4 or 5 days isn't enough to see Athens, Santorini, and Mykonos. Athens and one island is really pushing it. Ferry or flight times between islands will eat up all the time you would have for sightseeing.
Not sure why you would need a tour guide. Unless you want to book a private tour, there's not a lot for that few days. It is not difficult to get around on your own. However, you could contact Fantasy Travel or Dolphin Hellas Travel in Athens, both of which are highly reputable Greek travel agents, and see if they can help you set up what you want.

I don't know if this might work for you, but Aegean Airlines flies to Athens from Genoa, Italy, which is about 130 miles from Nice.

You didn't mention when you would be travelling, but Aegean does offer substantial periodic airfare discounts.

Thank you Arts and Brother,
The only way to go from Nice inexpensivelly was EasyJet.
Easyjet back to Orly - then
travel to CDG for another EasyJet to Athens.
Then I compared it to Air France which had more reasonable departure times, and arranged transfers from CDG to Orly and they were both abut equal in price except for the transfers - through a travel agent.
So I went for reasonable departure times and ease of travel.
Other than Easy Jet there was no other way - And without the travel agent I wouldn't have gotten the price on Air France even on Kayak.
Many thanks. Hope this helps some one else.
P.S.
Oh yes, there was Olympic, but since its status was shaky, not recommended.
