I don't know how to tell you when you can walk it; just know that when we took a day-trip there, and enjoyed one of Mr. Miller's sessions, the labyrinth was covered with chairs for extra seating, and I almost missed seeing it altogether. Hopefully someone can tell you who to call for best times to be able to walk it.

The labyrinth was closed the day I was there in the summer of 2000. Maybe there's a website that publishes the hours it's open. Try putting Chartres Cathedrale into www.google.com and see what pops up.<BR><BR>Bonne chance

When I went to Chartres in May a couple of years ago, the labyrinth was cleared of chairs an hour before closing and visitors were welcome to do its circuits. That was around 5 or 6 pm, on a weekday. It is definitely worth staying till closing to experience the labyrinth, even if you're not religious. Good luck.

I just sent this to Connie, but wanted to pass it on to anyone else who might be interested:<BR><BR>http://www.usatoday.com/travel/vacations/background/france-chartres.htm<BR><BR>All kinds of wonderful info about Chartres and the cathedral, including the following:<BR><BR>"Chartres' labyrinth is open to visitors.
