Charging mp3 in Italy?
My mp3 recharges by connecting it to a computer port. Does anyone know if the ports in Europe are the same? And...do Euro computers run on 220 or do they convert to 110? If they convert to 110, wouldn't it be OK to recharge the device from a computer over there?
Thanks,
Jeanne

Assuming you mean it charges from a USB port; then yes, these are the same.
To expand 'euro' computers take a 230V AC input where in the US it's 110. In both cases it is converted to low voltage DC to actually power the computer's internals.
The USB ports provide a low current 5V DC supply which is usually what you'd use to charge your MP3.
