Charge for additional driver of rental car

We are renting a car from Enterprise in Edinburgh for 2 weeks. Does anyone know what they charge for an additional driver? The reservation we have is for the base price only and we were just wondering what the additional charge would be. Thanks!

I did email Enterprise and have not received an answer. Google searches only confirm additional drivers cost more but do not quote a price.

I don't remember if I have ever rented from Enterprise, but most of the rentals do charge for an additional driver. It isn't much. The last time I rented a car...I think maybe $10-$15 extra.

Per the Enterprise UK website:

<< Can I have additional drivers for the vehicle?

Question
Do you allow more than one driver per rental car?

Answer
Yes. Each driver must be present at the time the rental contract is signed. All additional drivers must qualify the same as the primary driver : they must be at least 25 years of age or older, have a valid drivers license, and a major credit card in their name. There may be a fee for each additional driver, with the exception of spouses and domestic partners, who may be added to the rental contract at no additional charge. In the United Kingdom and Ireland all additional drivers must pay a fee.>>

So if the drivers are spouses/domestic partners, there are no add'l fees.

If not, e-mail them again -- or phone them.

Thanks, yes I read that too. The other driver is not related to me, so that is why I was checking the cost.
I emailed Enterprise so I will just wait and hope they answer. We called Enterprise in the States but they said we would have to talk to the UK Enterprise and I am cheap, so not want to call them. I will just hope they email back.

If you are concerned, a phone call will only cost pennies (and only US ¢ - not UK pence)

Use a 10-10 number and you'll pay about 3 or 4 cents a minute.
