Hi,
Is it too cold to go into the water at the beaches on the Channel Islands at the very first part of May? We have some polar bear blood, but don't want to be frozen.
Thanks!

If it's a hot day and you go swimming on an incoming tide (i.e. the water is heated up by passing over the warmed up sand) then it might just be bearable.
