Champagne Tour Companies?

Me again! My husband and I will only be in the Champagne Region (Reims) for one full day and night... Is there anyone I could go through to set up tour appointments for us for that day at a few wineries or is it something where we could just show up to some places as we go? Thanks so much!

I recommend Launois. It is a medium-sized winery with atmosphere and a unique museum. See:

Thank you all! Are there several to choose from that do not require appointments? Should we just go and show up?

I just showed up at Martel, Mumm and Piper -Heidsieck one weekend a year ago March. It was rather the off season.

The tourist office next to the cathedral had a list of the champagne houses giving tours the days I was there. As I recall there were at least 4 or 5 other houses listed that I did not make it too.

Here's a link to my trip report describing my time in Reims. I spent two full days. I could have used a third. You'll really have to pick and choose what you want to do.
