CDG transport
Will be arriving in Paris on Dec. 26th- we are a family of 4. What would be the best way to our hotel in the 8th district at midday? Also, if you have any ideas of how we can spend the 4 days pleasing everyone with a smattering of affordable shopping, lots of sightseeing and great food, please post. We love to have a plan of where to eat in the neighborhoods where we will be exsploring. Any good sites anyone can recommend I surf to to help me plan would be so appreciated.
Thanks for your help :}

The Air France shuttle drops you near the Arc de Triomphe, I believe. You don't have to fly AF to take it. Do a search for "CDG and Shuttle" and you'll find more info.
As for sites with info on what to do in Paris, mais oui! You're here! Search in the box above for "Paris" and you'll find more reports than you'll be able to absorb. You might also want to search for "Paris and children" and "Paris and Christmas". Best place to start, tho, is the library. Get some guide books and decide what you want to get more information on.
Have a fun trip!

You might want to pick up a copy of the Green Michelin Guide to Paris--loads of info on sightseeing by area, along with restaurant recommendations in the vicinity.
On this site, just search for Paris restaurants...
