CDG to Les Andelys by Car
I have before me 13 pages of instructions on how to get from the airport to Les Andelys. And it isn't even clear to me how I get out of the airport and on the road. I also tried Mappy and the same.
Is there an easier way, a better way, or does anyone out there have easy printed instructions already on their computer they would like to send me?
Please HELP. I have spent far too much time on this.

The drive was actually quite easy. The first hour or so is on an autoroute; after that it's still a major road. My husband printed directions from the viamichelin.com site and put together a navigator's manual for me, but we didn't much need it.
Get a good map of the region and have someone read the viamichelin instructions while you follow them on the map. The Michelin map of Normandy would be very useful for you.

I'm planning to do the same route and share some of eurogals concerns--especially about getting out of the airport. Although ViaMichelin is a big help, I'd feel more comfortable if I knew where the rental cars are if I arrive at Terminal 2A. Is there a counter (National) in the terminal or is there a central location for all companies?

Car-rental agencies at terminal 2A are located in the basement; the access stairs and elevator are at the far left end of the terminal as you face the gates. There's also a useful small shop in the area.
Be prepared for a wait to get to the counter...the lines tend to be very slow. Once you're through, you just head out the rear doors to the parking lot and find your car. The rental agency will supply a map that gives instructions for leaving the airport.

Thanks Underhill. In doing more checking, it appears that Terminals 2A, 2B, 2C and 2D share a common rental counter area below street level for the major companies . Does this sound right? Assuming there's some kind of signage, I'll find my way.
