CDG car pickup - where exactly?

Can anyone tell me where to pick up a rental car at CDG? We have the car reserved (actually a van for 6), but I cannot find car rental on the CDG site map. Is it actually at the airport or do you take a shuttle to the agency?
Thanks for any tips.

The car rental desks (offices) are all right there in the arrival hall. You just check in with them and they'll direct you to the pickup location.

Thank you for the help. Is the car pickup where you can actually walk to the car after checking in or do you have to ride bus or something first to a car lot?
I've been a CDG twice recently, but have not picked up a car there - just trying to assess how much hassle it will be!

French are indeed very organized, you will have no problem. Good luck.

Are you renting the car while you are staying in Paris or to tour around the countryside? I only ask because a car is definitely not needed in Paris or for close by attractions - Giverny, Versailles, Disneyland, etc.

We are renting to drive to Normandy & Loire Valley. Returning it to Orly just b/c it's more convenient (more $$$, too!).
I agree, we definitely don't want to drive into Paris.

The cars should be in one of the garages attached to the terminals. Don't know specific for one of the CDG2 terminals; but at CDG1, the cars are in the garage in the central circular building in levels ABOVE the arrival/departure levels. You just take an elevator to get up there.

If you are arriving in Terminal 2, yes. There is no easier airport rental car pickup in the world than the facility provided at CDG Terminal 2. Car pickup/drop off is actually between the various Terminal 2 buildings. Keep your luggage on one of the free trolleys and unload it at your car.

I fly from ATL to CDG often. Seldom have needed a rental car, but it is all very easy to pickup and to return. People have rouble returning because they are looking for the sign on the right side of the road. It is on the left side. The cars are downin the "hole" in the center of the rather circular road going around. You turn down into that "hole" for car return. Very easy, once you know where to look.
