CDG Airport
My friend and I are flying into Paris from different cities, but should get there around the same time. When we did this to London, I was able to wait outside the gate for her plane to land and then we went to customs together.
Will this be possible in CDG? Or should I just say we will meet somewhere in the airport past customs?

Hi L,
>Any suggestions for a central spot to meet outside of customs?
Assuming that you will both arrive at the same terminal, go through the "Nothing to declare" door, get out of the way of traffic and wait.
Enjoy your visit.

I believe all CO flights arrive at 2A. There's only one baggage claim hall at 2A so you may even run into each other there if arriving around the same time. Otherwise, just exit customs and wait in the 2A arrivals hall. Sorry I'm not familiar enough with 2A arrivals to give you a more specific point to meet but it shouldn't be too difficult to find each other.

You will definitely not be able to wait at the gate for her. On landing you will be herded into passport control then go to baggage claim/customs. There is a little cafe that overlooks the CO baggage claim area. You can only access it after you have collected your bag cleared customs (such as that is - just walking through a door into the airport lobby.) We waited there to meet my niece who was arriving on a slightly later flight.
BTW if you happen to be flying BusinessFirst you can ask the concierge who meets the plane to get you access to the arrivals lounge, which would be a nicer place to wait.

Do CO pax use the AF arrivals lounge in 2C or a different lounge?
