So, just wanted to give you guys a report. Flight was early by 20 minutes. Went straight to passport control and spent 2 minutes. Walked to shuttle bus, got off at 2E to walk to 2F. Already had AF boarding passes printed. Went through security, found we did have to check one bag from weight (apparently, weight and size both matter). Dropped that bag off, paid for it, back through security, and arrived at gate at 6:57!! Crazy how everything was in our favor. Now, we wait 2+ hours to board. So thankful. Thanks for the plans.

Sometime in your favor, sometimes not. My Delta flight arrived at CDG 30 min early, but alas, they would not give us a gate. We waited on the tarmac until the scheduled arrival time.

Glad to hear it worked out. My last trip into CDG involved us taxiing for 45 min while the plane looked for a place to park.
