SFO-CDG-BCN. A bit worried about connecting flight

I have a business trip coming up and I will be going from San Francisco to Barcelona with a connection at CDG Paris. I have 1:45 and will go from 2E - 2F. Has anyone done this transfer and if so advice to make it with some time to spare.

Thanks

RS

Extremely easy transfer. And if you are ticketed on the same airline, who cares? There is a flight about every hour and it is the airline's responsibility to get you on the next flight.

No problem at all. I once did this with 45 min between flights (both on same airline AF), went through passport control and re-security check. Oh, and my luggage made it as well

I just did it a couple months ago. There isn't any problem that you need special tips, those terminals are right next to each other, you just walk between them, follow the signs. Yes, it is a long walk, but it's not a problem. I had 1:40 between flights and probably had about an hour to spare.

This past June, our AF flight from SFO to CDG landed 1 hour late. It was on time for our November trip.

If you are traveling on a connecting ticket and miss the connection, it is the airline´s responsibility to put you on the next available flight which may or may not be the next scheduled flight. If your arrival time in Barcelona is important for business reasons, I would not feel very comfortable trying to make a connection with as little time as you have.

That isn't little time as we all testified who have actually done it, the only problem would be if the plane actually did not land on time, not the amount of scheduled time for the connection.

I've actually never heard any horror stories for long lines at CDG for passport control and security for connections that would make a simple connection in adjacent terminals take longer than 2 hrs. A lot of people complain about CDG but it isn't that different than any other airport IMO and I've taken many connecting flights there. The only problem is if you have a 30-45 min connection, that can be dicey. I've never heard of anyone not making a 1:45 connection, but maybe I've missed that.
