CARJET rental
I know this has been covered to some extent elsewhere but I would like comments from people who have used CARJET in Spain. I need a car for 28 days in March and CARJET is about 60% of the price of others like AutoEurope. How did your rental experiance work out?

We rented a mid-size car from Carjet in Oct 2004 and were given a blue Citroen Xsara, 4-door, diesel. We picked it up at the airport in Madrid and dropped off at the airport in Malaga with no drop-off fee. Our car was clean, low mileage, and we had no problems with it.
Carjet was quick to respond to our emails and we saved a little over $100 over the other bids I had received.
The car was from National Atesa, a large rental car company in Spain.
Pick up was easy and drop off took about 5 min. We had no damage, they signed off, and away we went. We'd definitely rent from them again. Oh . . . and we were not pressured to take any additional insurance. They offered, we declined and that was that. All round good experience!
Good luck,

I just booked with Carjet at Malaga and you have the option of paying over the net or waiting until you pick the car up. I don't know why anyone would pay in advance? No incentive to do that I could see.

We rent over the net and received a voucher. No problem.
We've previously rented from Kemwel, AutoEurope, EuropCar, and Budget and we've always paid in advance and received a voucher.

Conquistador. We booked over the internet and printed up a Direct Payment Car REntal Voucher from the Customer Zone tree of the email confirmation.
I even called them directly because it seemed too easy and they said just take the voucher with you when you pick up the car. Pay when you get there.
I didn't see any advantage to paying ahead although with the sliding dollar it locks in a price.

I have rented from CarJet and will pick it up on Thursday at Malaga airport...I was told about the company from the British owner of the apt. that I have rented for a month. They are MOST reasonable and there is no deductible..fully insured, no scratch and dent stuff..a Peugeot 307 automatic. I have always rented from Auto Europe in France..I compared prices and CarJet is far less!!

Hi Gracejoan, Please post a reply when you get back or when ever. We leave 3/3 so would hope I can decide before then. Size for 4 adults and suitcases to get to hotel and travel around. We would pick up at Malaga but is there a train drop off?
